Terms and Conditions

These terms explain the rules for using Fundspring and the responsibilities that come with managing a nonprofit funding workspace.

Effective July 5, 2026. These terms are written as a practical overview of how Fundspring works. They do not cover every possible situation.

Agreement to these terms

By creating an account, joining an organization, starting a subscription, or using Fundspring, you agree to these terms. If you use Fundspring on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization.

What Fundspring provides

Fundspring is a grant discovery and funding operations workspace for nonprofit teams. The product may include charity profiles, project tracking, foundation discovery, grant intelligence, match scoring, document drafting, outreach workflows, reminders, exports, onboarding, and support.

Accounts and security

  • You are responsible for keeping your login, devices, and two-factor authentication methods secure.
  • You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and inside organization workspaces you manage.
  • You must provide accurate account and organization information and keep it reasonably current.
  • You should notify us promptly if you believe your account or workspace has been accessed without permission.

Organization workspaces

Organization owners and admins control team access, invitations, roles, billing access, and workspace content. If you join an organization, your activity and content may be visible to owners, admins, and other authorized team members.

If there is a dispute over an organization workspace, Fundspring may rely on available account, billing, invitation, and administrative records to decide how to handle access while the dispute is resolved.

Subscriptions, trials, and billing

Paid plan details, trial periods, renewal terms, taxes, and cancellation options are shown in the product or during checkout. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Billing is handled by our payment provider, and payment method updates may be managed through the billing portal when available.

If payment fails or a subscription is inactive, Fundspring may limit access to paid features such as project creation, matching, exports, and other workspace actions.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use Fundspring for unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or harmful activity.
  • Do not misrepresent your organization, funding needs, eligibility, impact, financial information, or relationship with a funder.
  • Do not upload malware, attack the service, bypass security controls, scrape the platform, or attempt to access another organization's data.
  • Do not use Fundspring to violate funder rules, privacy rights, intellectual property rights, or applicable laws.
  • Do not resell, sublicense, copy, or reverse engineer Fundspring except where allowed by law or with written permission.

Your content

Your organization keeps ownership of the content it adds to Fundspring, including project details, notes, files, drafts, and workspace records. You give Fundspring permission to host, process, display, analyze, and use that content as needed to provide and improve the service, support your account, maintain security, and operate product features.

You are responsible for making sure you have the rights and permissions needed to upload or enter content into Fundspring.

Fundspring content and data

Fundspring may provide foundation profiles, grant records, funder insights, matching signals, templates, recommendations, and other product content. Some information may come from public records, third-party sources, user input, automated processing, or Fundspring analysis. You should verify important information before relying on it externally.

AI-assisted outputs

Fundspring may use AI-assisted tools to generate summaries, matches, rankings, drafts, suggested next steps, letters, and related outputs. These outputs are provided to support your team's work, not to replace professional judgment.

Your team is responsible for reviewing AI-assisted outputs for accuracy, eligibility, funder fit, tone, legal compliance, and completeness before using them in applications, emails, reports, or external communications.

No funding guarantee

Fundspring helps nonprofit teams identify and pursue stronger-fit opportunities, but we do not guarantee grants, donations, awards, funder responses, application success, or any specific financial outcome.

Third-party services

Fundspring may connect to or depend on third-party services such as hosting providers, payment processors, email services, analytics providers, AI infrastructure, and public data sources. Their services may be subject to their own terms and privacy practices.

Availability and product changes

We work to keep Fundspring reliable, but the service may be updated, interrupted, limited, or unavailable from time to time. We may add, change, suspend, or remove features as the platform evolves.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if an account violates these terms, creates security or legal risk, fails to pay required fees, harms Fundspring or other users, or uses the service in a way that is not reasonably aligned with its intended purpose.

Disclaimers and limits

Fundspring is provided as a software service and funding operations tool. To the fullest extent allowed by law, the service is provided without warranties of guaranteed accuracy, uninterrupted availability, funder eligibility, or funding outcomes. Fundspring is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Fundspring changes. If updates are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as updating this page, sending an email, or showing an in-product notice. Continued use of Fundspring after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
